My name is Chern Yee and I am a software developer / designer / engineer. I am a computer engineering graduate of University at Buffalo in February 2016. As a computer engineer, I learn about engineering principles as well as computer science and technology, from software to hardware, from theory to hands-on. I am interested in various technologies, but my major focus is on software design, Android development, website design and software / hardware integration interface.

Undergraduate Research Assistant
UB CSE Department

I collaborated with my professors to develop an Eclipse plugin that records all the changes under Java Model into SQLite database. From the recorded data that we collected from students, we performed data analysis in R to study the process of how beginners learn to write code. Hence, we could use this to improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching instruction at UB. I also wrote a script to extract databases from students who consented to this research and sort them in group order.

I worked as a student assistant at Pistachio. My duties included resolving and providing customers with excellent and quality service, assisting chefs in preparing food items and dishes, ensuring the cleanliness of kitchen and dining area, and taking initiative to help other co-workers when scheduled duties were completed.
